Two hounds rescued from China on their way
Following a successful fundraising appeal on our Facebook page, we are taking part in a national effort to rescue some of the greyhounds suffering horribly and facing gruesome death in China.
FRANKIE is a girl who has just given birth to 8 pups. Sadly, there are just two surviving - we pray they will make it. Frankie was owned by a Chinese breeder and must have had a horrendous time before being bought for rescue.
CLOUD is our second Chinese Greyhound. He has a 300 mile journey from Beijing down to the rescue centre before we can get more information about him.
All we know is that he is a small white boy and was on a lorry on its way to the meat market for slaughter.
Several Greyhounds were bought and taken off. Sadly, the other dogs on board could not be saved.
We'll keep you updated when we have more information on our impending arrivals.
